4 Essential Graphic Designing Tips for Every Website

2 Mins read

When you are creating graphic content for any website, there are a lot of things that you need to keep in mind. In order to make your website more attractive and to improve its conversion rate, you will have to use appealing graphics that will provide valuable information to your visitors. It doesn’t matter how much your website has to offer if its graphic layout is not attractive, then there is a good chance that the visitor will look for an alternative. In this article, I have mentioned a few essential tips that every designer must keep in mind while designing website content. Let’s have a look:

Stick With a Color Theme

The first and the most important thing you need to take care of is the color theme of the website. It is understandable that you want your website to look vibrant by throwing different colors, but that can look messy if not done right. The safer and arguably, the better thing to do is to pick a color theme and stick with it. You can make a combination of colors that aligns well with your brand and can use it as a theme for your website. This will help you stay consistent and true to your brand and will look appealing as well.

Upload Images in Right Size and Format

Another important thing that you need to do is make sure that you are uploading the images in the right format and size. It doesn’t matter how good your created graphics are; if they don’t appear in high quality on your website, they won’t impress anyone. So make sure that you are using suitable formats for all pages sections. If the images need conversion, you must use jpeg en pdf  and jpg en pdf converter to recompress, so the image doesn’t lose its quality.

Use Easy to Read Simple Fonts

The kinds of fonts you are using in your graphic also matter a lot. If you are going with fancy and colorful fonts, then you are making a mistake. The content we write on the image is vital for our website, and we don’t want the visitor to skip it. You can use other elements in the image to grab the reader’s attention but keep the font simple and readable. If you want to get a bit fancy with fonts, then you are allowed to do it. Just don’t do it on your landing page, and people are looking for information on landing pages.

Embrace the White Space

Most people want their website to be filled with designs and colors from top to bottom, and if you leave even a bit of negative space or white space, then the client will complain about it. However, this is a misconception because most users prefer a website that has the right amount of negative space. If the website is too cluttered, it will overwhelm the user, and they wouldn’t know where to navigate to. But if there is a lot of white space on the website, the user will appreciate it and can navigate easily.
